About the Cover
The three images show the pattern of macrophage migration on an agar plate in response to the 57 kDa major antigenic outer-membrane protein of Shigella dysenteriae (upper), and in the presence of anti-CD3 mAb (middle) or anti-CD3 alone (lower) under bright-field illumination after Giemsa staining. The villous formation due to the effect of migration-activating factors released at 18 h can be observed. Image courtesy Dr A. K.
